Description: De Valera writes "They tell me however that you are not at all well. I hope it is not so, though, I can quite understand how trying it must have been to be shut up during all these terrible months". He also enquires after Áine Ceannt, noting "I feel that her suffering must have been keener than most. Do you remember this day two years ago? What changes there have been."
