| Summary: | Letter from John MacDonagh in prison in Frongoch, Wales to his sister Mary, Sister Francesca, regarding his life in prison. He mentions he has only received one letter since being there from Kate O'Toole and asks Mary to pass on the prison's address to all. He says that the weather is wet and cold and they have "mud up to our ears". He also mentions he will be sent to London for trial soon and says "I don't of course intend to plead, let them do what they like". Envelope included is adressed to Sister Francesca. |
