Summary: | Clarke sets out the objections of her mother which include his plans to bring his entire family to America at the same time. He expressed anger at the reaction of her Uncle John who feels that he is "killing myself with hard work". He also mentions the visit of Queen Victoria to Ireland and how he feels Limerick would be opposed to it. He has also been appointed a delegate to the New York "United Irish Societies Committee".
