In Collection: Tom Clarke and Kathleen Clarke Papers, 1890-1972.
Description: Kathleen's mother and uncle have not agreed to his proposal that they be married soon and have insisted that they wait a year. He writes that "you had seemed so near to me for the last month or so and now - twelve months quite horrifies me - horrifies me as the prospect of twelve months inside prison walls never did". Clarke writes that he is angry as the reasons set forward by her uncle seem flimsy to him.
