| Summary: | O'Casey congratulates McCarthy on being promoted, and on finishing her Educational Scholastic Course; he says he heard what her new salary is and that she must feel she is 'ar dhrim na muice' [sic] (on the pig's back). He mentions the visitors he has had recently, that he is rather tired, and his doctor has ordered him to see fewer people and not to write for a while. He thanks her for the photographs and sends his greetings to her sister, whom she will be visiting. |
