Description: Clarke writes "Fate may do its worst, my Kattie's heart is safe in my own keeping for good and all now and I can face the worst and full confident I'll succeed - After all, now that I think the prospect for me is not by any means so dark - oh yes I'm happy and stronger". He also mentions a visit from John Daly to discuss a letter received from "Mr. D."
