Summary: | O'Casey writes to say that he hasn't time to write more fully as he is very busy. He is working on an introduction and chapter to a book, and articles for the publisher George Braziller. He refers also to meetings with Columbia Recordings about a recording of 'Juno and the Paycock' by Cyril Cusack Productions, with Siobhán McKenna as Juno. In addition, a camera crew are coming from NBC to make a half-hour programme about O'Casey and his family. He makes a brief mention about the Irish state taking over Clonmacnoise and is glad to see that at last the Irish are 'taking some thought for our venerable past'. |
