Description: Correspondence of Áine Ceannt; includes letters relating to her husband Éamonn's imprisonment and execution following the Easter Rising, her interest in later commemorative events and publications concerning his life, raids on her home by Auxiliaries and Black and Tans during the War of Independence, her work as a district justice in the Pembroke and Rathmines Sinn Féin Courts and her contributing a witness statement to the Bureau of Military History. Also included is business correspondence relating to properties held by the Ceannt family. Correspondents include Margaret Pearse, her sister Lily O'Brennan, Alice Stopford Green, Éamonn de Valera, Dan Breen, Dorothy Macardle, Esther Roper, Alice Milligan, Helena Concannon, Peadar O'Donnell, Sinéad Bean de Valera and her son Ronán Ceannt.
