Summary:	These papers relate to the children of Pauline Grattan Bellew and her husband Thomas Arthur Grattan Bellew (Thomas took the name Grattan when he married Pauline in 1858)at the date of their father's death in 1863. Pauline was his executrix and assumed the guardianship of the Bellew minors, Henry and Mary. These papers include funeral expenses, succession costs, statement of assets, correspondence and other legal papers. It mostly concerns the estate at Mount Bellew, Co. Galway, but also includes properties in Roscommon, Galway and the Grattan settled estates in Cavan and Dublin. Some concern Christopher Dillon Bellew (Thomas' grandfather)and Michael W. Bellew (Thomas father)and Henrietta Langdale (Pauline's sister). Mary Helena Grattan Bellew's married name was Fraser. She died in 1940.
