Summary:Anonymous letters of warning sent to McLean at his mother's home at Martin Street, South Circular Road, Dublin and are addressed to 'Brother McLean' (a reference to McLean's possible membership of the Orange Order). The letters demand that McLean leave Dublin and conclude with 'I will come like a thief in the night'. Letters are dated 24 May to 5 October 1922 ; with attached envelopes, one stamped 'Irish Republican Post' .
