Summary:Includes letters from Sir Henry Bate Dudley, William Windham M.P., the Rev. John Jephson, of Mullaghbrack, Co. Antrim, Sir Samuel Romilly, C.N. Palmer, Samuel Worthington, of Penryn, Wales, and the physician and lexicographer Peter Mark Roget, concerning 'rational toys' for children.


Also included is a copy letter from Edgeworth (recipient unclear) concerning the forging of banknotes (1799), a copy of a letter to a Mons. Le Breton, written while Edgeworth was in Edinburgh (Mar. 1803), a copy letter to a Mr. Ponsonby (possibly the politician and lawyer George Ponsonby) concerning Grand Juries in Ireland (Mar 1817) and a copy letter to a Mrs [Mareet] concerning the writer Barbara Hofland, with an attached note which reads 'The last letter RLE ever wrote d. 13/6/17'.
