Letters are written from Kashmir, Lahore, Government House, Singapore, New Port, Rhode Island, Kobe, Japan, Maderia, his residence at Shelton, Arklow, Co. Wicklow and various locations in England. With some attached envelopes. Lady Caroline Howard, in letters her brother Charles, refers to her having attending a Church of Ireland meeting in Dublin which was addressed by the Bishops of Cashel and Ossory and Dean of Derry (16 April 1852)and family news, including their mother's ill health(8 Oct 1854). |
