Summary: | Two views, exterior and interior of the Wellesley National Market and Home’s Hotel, Usher’s Quay, Dublin. With an unusual Doric columned entrance portico, it was opened by Scotsman George Home in 1826; however by 1840 it had become a weaving factory run by the White Quakers and in 1848 it became the premises of James Ganley, auctioneers who were based there until 1977 when they moved to new premises; it was subsequently demolished. |
