Autograph letter from Cecil Harmsworth to Elizabeth Corbet Yeats concerning a misprint in 'The little fishing book',
1930 September 2nd.
|Main Creator:||Harmsworth, Cecil, 1869-1948|
Typescript letter with signature and manuscript annotations. Harmsworth sends a cheque to Yeats(Director of Cuala Press, publishers of his book) and states that "the books books are delightful but unhappily a serious mistake has been made in the Dedication. It should be just 'To Em' (short for Emily) and not 'To E.M.'". He suggests two solutions - either to reprint the books entirely or to paste newly printed dedication pages in. He offers to pay for the work. Manuscripts annotations on the front and back show that Harmsworth rathered the option to paste the new pages in.
