Notes: | The Abbey Theatre made it's first American tour in 1911-12. During the tour performances of Synge's 'The Playboy of the Western World' provoked disturbances in various cities and in Philadelphia in January 1912 the entire cast was arrested and charged with indecency at the instigation of the local Clan na Gael organiser Joseph McGarrity.
