Five letters, four in English and one in French, from Richard Chenevix to Humphrey Marcet in 1812. One letter, dated 25th April, contains an introduction to a Mr. Herve who is to establish an "extensive charity at a very cheap rate". The remainder of the letters, dated November 14th, 20th, 22nd and 28th, all concern Chenevix's rheumatism and sciatica, which he cured by sweating exercises.
