Summary:Incomplete letter on Cuala Industries headed paper in which Yeats describes the destruction of Lord Mayo's house by the IRA Irregulars "to spite and break the Government - Lord Mayo & Sir Horace Plunkett were Senators in the Upper House - our brother W.B. is also a Senator - so we have not had a moment free from grave anxiety". She expresses concern that Lord Mayo has no guards and her disbelief that his house (where she stayed the previous year) and belongings are all gone.
