Kildare], in support of Fianna Fáil election candidate Thomas Harris. The election was caused by the death of Labour Party T.D., Hugh Colohan (1894-1931); Harris defeated John Curton, the Cumann na nGaedheal candidate and William Norton, the future Labour Party leader.
