Summary:Included in the four albums are views of Padstow, Newquay and Tintagel in Cornwall, Lough Inagh, Ballynakill Bay, Ballyconnelly, Clifden and Kylemore Lakes in Co. Galway, Fahan, Bundoran, Portsalon, and Clonmass in Co. Donegal, Cahirciveen, Derrynane, and Valentia Island in Co. Kerry, Lareen, Co. Leitrim, Courtown Harbour, Co. Wexford and Glendalough, Co. Wicklow. Family members and friends are featured playing golf, fishing, having picnics and house parties, dining out of doors and walking by the sea. Among those referred to are Lady Gregory, David Sayers, a girl named Cerise. Includes images of T.W. Lyster, former director of the National Library, playing golf. There are three attached, loose photographs, including a family group on the steps of a house, annotated 'House party, Marble Hill, 1921', possibly Marble Hill House, Co. Donegal, home of Hugh Alexander Law TD.

ALB424a. Album (a) is a bound album with title 'Our Holidays 1908' handwritten on cover in red, blue and green ink, along with a monogram in same colours that combines the letters 'H', 'S' and 'J'. The spine of the album is exposed. Sticker on front of box says: 'Damaged item -- Handle with care'.
