Address concerning the laying of the first stone of the Varty reservoir [Stillorgan] with references to the Dublin Corporation Waterworks Act 1861, 24 & 25 Vic., c. 172. [The reservoir came into existence in 1863, when the water from the upper catchment area of the river was deflected into the Roundwood Reservoir]. Signed: John Gray, Chairman of the Waterworks Committee, Monday, November 10th, 1862. With decorative border featuring shamrocks and the symbol of Dublin Corporation; printed in green ink.
