At head of title: "Commission Court - the sentence". 40 year old farm labourer Patrick Kilkenny was publicly hung in the front yard of Kilmainham on 20 July 1865 for the murder of 26 year old Margaret Farquhar from Co. Meath in Palmerstown on Friday 9 June 1865.
