a Paris journalist, passing his vacation at the Eau d'Eman, found in a lot of old papers which he purchased, the following curious document on parchment, and bearing the date 1702 A.D. Jacques Tarpour, a decorative painter, having been employed in 1700 to do some repairs in the Abbey Church, made a charge of 78 florins 10 sous, Brabant money.
