VII.ii. Typescript letter to Mrs. A. Malone, of Glasnevin, Dublin, from British Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlain, written from 10 Downing Street, London. Chamberlain refers to his receipt of 'expressions of sympathy and goodwill' in these 'difficult and anxious times'. Dated 19 Oct., 1938. With an attached enveloped, addressed to Malone.

VII.iii. Commemorative calendar for 1937, featuring a photograph of the first meeting of the Second Dail in the Mansion House, August 1921. Issued by 'The Irish Press' December 1936.

VII.iv. 'Irish Independent' proof to censor draft of a review of Francis William's book 'Democracy's Last Battle', published by Faber and Faber in 1941. With marginal manuscript notes, signed P.B., regarding the subsequent censorship of the review. The review itself is initialled 'N.M.G.' and dated February 1941.
