The Town Commissioners of Ballybay, by virtue of the powers vested in them by the "Towns' Improvement (Ireland) Act, 1854", and the several Acts incorporated therewith ... rules for better maintainance of order as regards the sale of butchers' meat and fish, in the fairs and markets in said town...That the Market for butcher's meat, and animal food of all kinds, also herrings and hides, be on the Clones Road as heretofore
