Meeting of the magistrates held at Aughnacloy: We, the Lieutenant, and undersigned magistrates of the County of Tyrone, having assembled at Aughnacloy, the first day of October, to take into our consideration the state of the neighbouring district have perceived with deep concern, that a spirt of opposition to the laws, has lately arisen, which threatens to endanger the peace of the county. Parties of armed men have dared to assemble, and march in procession at midnight, for the purpose of exciting terror, and inducing the peaceable inhabitants to engage in unlwful designs.
