First part consists of an alphabetical listing of the "Armes of severall Kingdomes, Dukedomes, Bishoppricks, and other Titles of Honor", in Ireland, Britain, Europe and across the Near and Middle East, with some explanatory notes on the origins of the arms described. Part two is an alphabetical list of "The Armes of severall Noble and worthy Families as well ancient as moderne in the Monarchie of Great Brittaine and Ireland". Two folios consist of "Collections taken out of Sr William Temples Barrt Obervations of the United Netherlands, he being Ambassador at the Hague at the Aix La Chapelle in the Yeare 1668 for the King of England", with a note that these were "imprinted Ao. 1673".
