An Association has lately been formed in this city [Waterford] for migrating and gradually abolishing negro slavery throughout the British dominions and for collecting and disseminating authentic information respecting the nature and baneful effects of slavery and progress made towards its abolition, and also for promoting petitions to the legislature on the subject.
