Summary:	19th century Irish political satire poster. On William III's birthday [November 4] the decoration of his [equestrian] monument in College Green invariably provoked disturbances. At the request of Wellesley, the Lord Mayor prohibited the decoration of the statue; a riot followed and troops were called out. Many 'Orange' broadsides and prints were subsequently issued attacking the Lord Lieutenant.
