Whereas his Majesty has signified his royal will and pleasure, that several regiments of foot and dragoons in this kingdom, should be forthwith broke and disbanded ... several companies ... quartered at Athlone ... did seize ... the officers commanding them ... Forbes Latimer ..., Serjant Christopher Bryan ..., Daniel Murphy ... [etc.] ... were the chief promoters and principal actors in the said mutiny ... a mutiny was begun ... at Ardee ..., Francis Rottier ... was the principal promoter ...
