Sir Robert the 18 stone fox-hunter, and six feet wall leaper will stand this season at Herbertstown, Co. Limerick, at £1 each mare, and 2s. to the groom. He was got by Sir Robert, dam by Old Andrew. This extraordinary horse, 17 hands, two inches high; bright bay with powerful strong black legs, stood for two seasons at Glenora Castle. Many of his two year olds have fetched forthy pounds. He has better legs than any hunter in Ireland; is as active as a Pony, and can easily carry 18 Stone Fox Hunting. N.B. Look at the horse, and go find better if you can!
