Election broadside - first lines of text reads: "Men of Woodford, a crises has come upon us, an insult has been offered to your manhood and your intelligence, such as never was attempted before. A scorpion from the Orange Lodge of Rathmines and the pestiferous swamps of Ballinagar, has dared to ask you for your votes, for the electoral division of Woodford." At foot of sheet: "Down with bribery, Orange and tryanny / Hurrah for Parnell and Erin Go Bragh. God Save Ireland".
