The extract refers to the The National Association, The Irish Alliance, The Irish People newspaper and Fenians John O'Leary, Thomas Clarke Luby, Charles Joseph Kickham, George Hopper, Jeremiah O'Donovan Rossa, James O'Connor and Michael Moore. Signed on verso, in black ink "Samuel Lee Anderson, Dublin Castle". There are hand-written sections in pencil in another hand also on verso that suggest the item may have been the property of Crown Solicitor of Ireland Samuel Lee Anderson with the note 'This document was apparently part of the indictment'. Hand-written in another hand on anotehr section of verso in black ink 'The Ballot Act, 1872'.
