The recent voluminous report on the laws, customs and trade of the pawnbrokers' of Ireland by Doctor William Neilson Hancock, has drawn forth the following observations on the part of some of the auctioneers of the city of Dublin, and which have been addressed to the Right Hon. Lord Mayo, M.P., Chief Secretary of Ireland, &c.,&c.
