Lord Wellington cherchant a dissuader la jeune Irlande de suivre l'éxemple du gamin de Paris /
An edition of the French satirical magazine 'Le Charivari' with a cover illustration of The Duke of Wellington in conversation with a young, [presumably Irish] child while similanteously being made a mockery of by a French child behind him. A translation of the caption infers that Wellington is trying to dissauade the Irish youth from following the example set by the French child. Illustrator signs himself off as 'Cham' - this is Charles Amédée de Noé, (1818-1879).
