County Kildare. Whereas his Grace, the Lord Lieutenant, was pleased to signify his commands to the Governor and Deputy Governors of the County of Kildare that unless two-thirds of the whole number of men to be supplied by the said county, under the Act of the last session of Parliament, for encreasing [increasing] the Militia of Ireland, should be actually forthcoming on the 10th instant, they should on that day proceed to ballot in every parish which had not found the number of men required to be raised ...
At foot of sheet: "Signed by order of the general meeting, held at Naas, the 18th day of January 1808, Joseph Medlicott, Clk. [Clerk] Gen. Meeting".
