The undersigned merchants and traders of this Port, having been requested to express their opinion relative to the management of the docks and warehouses belonging to the Crown, have no hestitation in declaring their preference to the management of the same, being vested in responsible individuals unconnected as traders with the commerce of the Port, rather than in any committee of merchants belonging thereto.
