Description: Writes "Need I say that I am more than disappointed that St. Enda's boys will not now be able to be the first to produce the Singer, as it was one of the wishes of my heart that the boys my son himself trained to act should have produced it. However under the circumstances I do not feel that it would be fair to your Society to withhold my consent, though I wish you to clearly understand that had I known before you had got your printing etc done, I would as you will see is reasonable, have reserved all productions of the Singer for St. Enda's."
