Description: Writes "I cannot express how sorry I am for poor Mr. Pearse and Willie ... No doubt you will wonder why I am not in England with the other boys but it was impossible for me to go. Everybody in the house went and before father went, he said my place was at home ... If I had gone Mother would have been left all by herself. I was terribly put out when I was told to stay. But it was the will of God ...Father is still in Streetford Barracks. There are some of the Enda boys there ... Mr. Pearse and Mr. Willie are in heaven now and happier than we in this world are. Also they shall be remembered in Ireland forever".
