Description: Letters to and from John Caulfield Irvine of Grove Hill, Co. Cork. He married Mary Broderick Smyth, widow of Grice Smyth of Ballynatray. Letters concern family matters including the inheritence of the Blakeney estate of Rev. Robert Blakeney, as well as letters to and from his stepchildren. Includes several letters from Robert Uniacke Fitzgerald of Corkbeg, Co. Cork concerning the Blakeney inheritance.

Correspondents include Bayford & Bowlder, C.T. Griffith, H. Phillips, Gertrude Smyth, Penelope Smyth, Grice Blakeney Smyth, James Shannon.
