Description: Contains letters to John Travers Lewis from Frederick Temple Blackwood, then Governor General of Canada, dated 28 May 1874, and from Sir Francis Knollys, private secretary to the Prince of Wales, dated 26 February 1892, and letters to Ada Travers Lewis from Charles Robert Spencer, 6th Earl Spencer, and Harry Verney, private secretary to the British monarch Queen Mary, dated 27 Juen 1930.

Also included is a typescript extract from a letter from Clarendon Worrell, Archbishop of Nova Scotia, concerning the career to Lewis in Ontario. Dated 27 February 1930.
