Description: Contains letters to John Travers Lewis, Archbishop of Ontario, and his wife Ada Travers Lewis (correspondents including Frederick Temple Blackwood then Governnor General of Canada, and Harry Verney, private secretary to the British monarch Queen Mary), a travel journal written by their daughter Charlotte Hamilton while she and her children were holidaying in France between 1882 and 1883, and newspaper cuttings relating to the appointment of Charles Hamilton, of Hawkesbury, Ontario, as Archbishop of Ottawa in 1909.
