Summary: | He writes that he was given a box of shamrock upon his release but "Fr. McDonald, the chaplain was looking at it rather longingly, so I gave it to him to his intense delight. He is a very earnest priest and does great work among the convicts". He mentions his uncertainity about what to do next "As you may guess my 'affairs' are rathter dislocated just now. The whole thing came at a rather bad time for me. As a result I find it a trifle difficult to decide my course of action right away".
