Description: Letter provides detail about Seán MacSwiney's trial, imprisonment and the two-year hard labour sentence which he got: "Well, here I am. I have gone through the whole rigmarole - trial, sentence, fingerprints, photo, physical description. I am just short of one thing necessary to make me a criminal, and curiously enough that is the main essential - a crime."
