Wilde, of Lincoln's Inn, London, to the duke's agent Charles Robert Hamilton of Hamwood, Co. Meath, concerning the legal and financial matters relating to the Duke's estates. Wilde's letters include details relating to the allowance provided for the Duchess, estimated expenses regarding the upkeep of his estates and a breakdown of the servants wages. |

| Notes: | Charles Robert Hamilton, J.P. of counties Meath and Dublin, was the eldest son of Charles William Hamilton of Hamwood House, near Dunboyne, Co. Meath, and Letitia Charlotte (née Armstrong). He was married to Louisa Brooke of Dublin, with whom he had ten children, among them the artists Eva and Letitia Hamilton.
