She refers to her impressions of her new home, compares it to her old home of Rossana, and describes the domestic arrangements in Hamwood, particularly in relation to the household servants. Notes:	Sarah Tighe (1743-1820) was the only child and heiress of Sir William Fownes and Lady Elizabeth Fownes (née Ponsonby) of Woodstock, Co. Kilkenny. In 1765 she married William Tighe (1738-1882) of Rossana, Co. Wicklow, with whom she had five children.
