Each account bears a title of 'Farm held by [tenant] Townland of [name of townland] Containing [land measurement by acres, roods and perches] as Tenant under lease dated [ ]. This volume provides information from 1842 to 1851. The account books describe each townland under headings including date, general entry, tenants's debit, tenants' credit, tenants' balance and observations.
