Summary: | Contains Special Report of Proceedings of a court held at the Court House, Lismore on the 10th and 11th of January by the Inspectors of Irish Fisheries, 'who received application from Hon. Charles William Moore-Smyth, of Ballynatray, in the county of Waterford, for a certificate for a fixed engine, called a slake net or Scotch weir, for the capture of salmon, said fixed engine to be erected on the river Blackwater, at Ballynatray; to enquire into the legality or illegality of such fixed engine and the right to erect same.'
