The rental contains information for twenty-five land denominations. These are County of Galway: Clonbrock; The Wood; Caltraghdanane; Kilglass; Cloncannon; Killasolan; Latoon; Cunlagh ard and Gortyroyne; Killupane; Ballynesouragh; Carryfarry; Luighenny and Tycooly; Creggan; Cloonshee; Tyth's of Caltragh; County Roscommon: Carroghboy and Inishrow; Castlesampsons; Cornegee; Eskerbane; County Westmeath: Callaghstown; Corn and Ballymacalin. The observations relate mainly to leases, but some provide descriptions of the estate. In the observation relating to the denomination of Clonbrock, the observations record 'on this is the Castle and Mansion house of Mr. Dillon the Lands are well Enclosed and divided with a large dear sark on this is a fine young growth of timber and when grown will be worth £3000. The tenants on the lands of Cloncannon, Kilalsolan and Latoon are noted in the observations as cottiers 'who pay their rent in worke and pay much more than the value mentioned in this rent roll.
