| Summary: | Contains a number of conveyances for lands in the baronies of Kilmallock and Coshlea, Co. Limerick including for the townlands of Ballycullane, Gibbonstown, Bulgaden Eady, Garryncoonagh and Ballygrennan mostly to Richard and Alice Grice of Fantstown, Co. Limerick. Includes Richard Grice's certificate from the Court of Claims granting him land for military service [1666] and an order for possession of Sir Richard Fleetwood for lands in Co. Limerick from the Lord Deputy and council [1618]. Includes a number of bills of sale for military debentures of soldiers in Colonel Chidley Coote's troop for service in Ireland. Most are to Richard Grice for lands in Limerick and some in Kerry and include bills of sale from Christopher Flitcher, James Clanon, Turlogh Kenny, John Garrett, John Bowen, General Nurom, Henry Sumors, John Groves, James Semm, Quentin More, Simon Hutt, Ralph Allen, Thomas Goring, Thomas Ason and Edward Elston. Also includes petition to the Court of Exchequer relating to the military debenture of Thomas Goaring, 10 May 1680 with attached document in Latin from the Court. |
