Notes:Research by our Flickr Commons users established that Mr. T.H. Mason, M.R.I.A., gave a lecture on "Archaeology in Ireland" at the weekly meeting of the Dublin Rotary Club in the Metropole Restaurant on Monday, 3 July 1933. The "Zoo's" New Arrivals were Coypu rats, each of which was a big as a full-grown cat; a very rare Malayan monitor lizard; and a baby kangaroo called "Lincoln Murphy".
